To improve the protection of the electronic document management system are used
watermarking tools to view documents and QR code generation to signing EDS documents.
Hence, every user who views the document (attachment) through the built-in preview
mechanism will see a watermark with his/her full name and personal identifier. Such precautions minimize information leakage by creating pictures screenshots from external
device. In case of signing a document with EDS, a QR code with extended information about
the signer and the document is added to the last page.
All information stored in the system is encrypted with a strong cryptographic algorithm. Besides algorithm, files on a server and network storage, go through an additional process of depersonalization. This procedure complicates the identification of a specific instance or version. Critical information stored in the database are protected with several protection methods, including system administrator actions. Even in the case of direct interference into database structure, the system detects changes and notify responsible persons about a violation of data integrity.
Electronic digital signature
Electronic digital signature (EDS) gives legal significance to all user actions in the system, such as documents (investments). The system implements standard protocols to work with
electronic keys. This allows you to interact with all standard Accredited Key Certification Authorities (AKCA). The system users can certify their actions with EDS. For example, user can agree or sign a document card, or to certify the document (attachment) with an electronic digital signature. For all users who have access to the attachment (but do not have the role of “receive original attachments”), a PDF document will be available, with the information about all users of the system that have signed the document with an electronic
digital signature (on the last page).
